Planting Continues
Tomatoes are in. I have planted a combination of heirlooms and non heirlooms. The black beauty
eggplant and basil transplants are also in. The season is moving forward.
I was thinking of planting an heirloom. The choices were overwhelming! Went with the norm, Early Girl, and Sweet 100's - I know, boring! I should just pick any of them, and give it a go! May be pleasantly surprised! Thanks for this post, I just may go back and grab a "whatever"!! :)
The heirlooms "Mr. Stripey" and "Cherokee Purple" are both readily available at the "big box" stores near me (Philadelphia, PA area). I like both of these enough to grow again.

ReplyDeleteMortgage lifter is a heirloom that. Produces pretty well and is delicious.
