We live in zone 6a and I have been gardening and cooking for years. This blog is an opportunity for me to share with you my success and those failures that come about on occasion. Tomatoes Are In

I know it s a bit risky to  plant tomatoes to their permanent bed this early in southern Ohio, but the long term forecast looks good. So I went ahead and planted them in the raised beds and large pots. My cabbages by the way are doing great. Frankly everything is doing well- lettuce, carrots, radishes, garlic has really taken off. The garlic is more than 2 feet tall.

    I'm waiting at least one more week before planting as it was 33 at night yesterday :( but it should warm up to upper 70s over the weekend so I hope it will be warm enough to plant some of the tomatoes.
