Harvest Monday

I picked a wonderful selection of tomatoes: Roma, Goliath, Cherokee Purple, and German Johnson. The harvest came in at 5 pounds .75 ozs. This is what makes my summer so wonderful-tomatoes. I love them. Plus, my squirrel fence is working. They had a chance at one tomato, and then I put the fencing up, and now they have been cut off from these beauties.

    1. No, I just used very flexible fencing around the bed and over the top of the tomatoes.

    1. Yes all they could do was just look at the tomatoes and move onto my neighbors' gardens I guess.

  6. Lisa, what a beautiful tomato harvest - I am amazed at the job you do in your garden, wonderful! I adore tomatoes too, the more colorful the better but I have to buy mine since I am far from being as talented in the garden as you are!

P.S.: I looked at the "sneak peak" of your Blueberry Nectarine Pie - looks wonderful!

    1. Andrea thank you. The blueberry nectarine pie was great. I did cut back on the sugar though. Some pie recipes overwhelm with too much sugar and I prefer to taste the fruit.
