Question:Considering Blueberry Bushes

I am thinking about planting the shorter blueberry bushes. How long will it take for them to produce blueberries? I have read that it takes at least 3 years. Is that correct?

Appreciate advice from blueberry growers. Also what is your favorite blueberry bush?

  1. We bought mature bushes that already had berries and have them every year since. just have to make sure they get enough acid.

    2. look at the thickness of a main stem. if it's a twig then it's obviously not mature. some places will list how old the bush is - we picked 3 yrs old bushes.
